Our sign and magnet collections are authentic reproductions utilizing the same process popularized in England in the mid-1800s and later in America in the early 1900s. The colors are not paints, but finely ground glass crystals which, when kiln fired at 1350 degrees F, fused to the heavy 18 gauge steel plate. Each color is applied and fired separately creating a durable, lustrous, and rust resistant product.
